India House houses an Indian cultural centre. The world and especially the west of Europe has been interested in India for a long time. India is known as a place of piece, a centre for spirituality, a nation that loves peace, a country with a growing economy and last but not least a source of brains and an emerging market. India House is a foundation recognised by the Dutch government.

Our goal is to create a multicultural, multiethnic environment at India House in which people can gather to exchange ideas and share their experiences and knowledge about India's rich cultural heritage.

Objectives of the Foundation Indian Cultural Centre & India House Foundation

• Introduce, present and educate the public and promote awareness about the diverse cultures of India and Indian culture around the world.
  
  
• Encourage and promote cross-cultural educational exchange programs to benefit communities in the Netherlands and India.
• Serve as a resource and referral service to the community at large about Indian contemporary issues by organizing literary events, book discussions, lectures and forums.
  
  
• Present and organize (independently or in collaboration with other institutions from India) dance performances, music shows, art exhibitions and other cultural and educational activities.
  
  
• Promote social events that would enhance the lives of Indians living in the Netherlands.
  
  
• Introduce products produced by Indian technocrats to the Dutch business culture.
  
  
• Introduce ingenious Indian companies and organisations in terms of their history and the organisations road to success to the Dutch and to the rest of Europe.
  
  
• Introduce exceptionally talented Indian technocrats to the Dutch society.
